Pretend that you are one of the characters in the book you read. One of you becomes the prosecuting attorney; the other is the defense. It could be a "how-to" lesson or one on content. If the story of your book takes place in another country, prepare a travel brochure using pictures you have found or drawn.
Write a book review as it would be done for a newspaper. Design a book jacket for the book. If the book you read involves a number of locations within a country or geographical area, plot the events of the story on a map.
Make a cutout of one of the characters and write about them in the parts.
Write a one sentence summary of each chapter and illustrate the sentence. A part of the story that you think could not have really happened. Usually rack cards or postcards, business cards and stickers.
